The fastest route is the Support screen inside the app, which attaches your app version and device model so we are not guessing. Otherwise email us directly:

I signed in on a new phone and my catalogs say “Encrypted Catalog”

That is end-to-end encryption doing its job, not a bug. Your private key lives in the secure storage of the device that created it — signing in somewhere else does not carry it across.

If you made an encrypted key backup, restore it with your passphrase and the content decrypts again. If you did not, that content cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. We never hold your key or your passphrase, so there is nothing on our side to reset.

I restored my key, but a catalog is still locked

That can happen to a catalog somebody else shared with you. When they shared it, it was encrypted to the key your account had at that moment. If your account's key changed afterwards, the copy they made no longer fits — and restoring a backup cannot change that, because the encryption was done by them, not by you.

Ask whoever owns the catalog to share it with you again. Re-sharing encrypts it to your current key and it opens normally. Nothing was lost in the meantime; the catalog just could not be opened by you.

After a restore the app tells you which catalogs unlocked and which did not, so you know which ones to ask about.

Backing up your key

Create the backup from the app before you change phones. It is encrypted with a passphrase you choose, using PBKDF2-SHA256, and we only ever store the encrypted blob. Choose a passphrase you can actually reproduce and keep it somewhere safe — it is the one thing we cannot help you with.

Reporting abuse or objectionable content

Every direct conversation, group chat and profile has report, block and mute in its menu. Reports are ordinarily reviewed within 24 hours, and violating content is removed and the accounts responsible ejected. If you cannot reach the in-app menus, use the report abuse page.

Deleting your account

Open the Account tab and delete it there — you do not need to contact us and we cannot do it faster than you can. Deletion removes your profile, the catalogs you own with their products and media, your memberships, your conversations and messages, your push tokens and the encryption keys held on our servers. It is permanent.

Two things survive it, both deliberately: abuse reports involving your account are kept with your account link removed, so deleting an account cannot erase a record needed to protect someone else, and messages you sent into a group chat may remain visible to the other members. Both are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Privacy requests

To access, correct, export or erase your personal data, or to object to processing, write to privacy@onlymenu.io from the email address on the account. Note that we cannot export or produce your catalog or message content in readable form — it is encrypted with a key we do not have.
